Backup for x86 on EBS?

Hi all,

Currently all our backup servers (EBS) are installed in the solaris sparc platform. If we install the solaris (for x86) in the Wintel server, can i be able to backup the solaris for x86 Wintel server with my existing EBS solaris SPARC backup server?

Any advice will be welcomed.
