Backup flash

I just backed up our norstar 5.0 using nru 9.0. it was as easy as click click click. How about flash. How do you back it up? Thanks.

I'VE NEVER SEEN IN DOCUMENTATION TO THE SUBJECT EITHER IN THE INSTALL OR USER GUIDE. AND EVERYONE I HAVE TALKED TO SAYS THE SAME THING.
SO IF SOMEONE OUT THERE KNOWS OF A WAY PLEASE DON'T KEEP IT A SECRET

I have to agree with Old Rolmen. I have never heard of a way to back up the Flash. Guess it is considered small enough to be easily re-created.

Actually, believe it or not, there is (was) a flash version 3.??? BRU, backup and restore utility. I think it backs up the flash to the pcmcia card. the field trial version we have in our office works along the same lines as the nam backup and restore. It even holds the memory when you reinstall the system (f983, 1, reinstall) This came out around the same time the flash was announced discontinued so whether nortel has shelfed the idea I am not sure. You may want to talk to your nortel sales rep and see if he/she knows anything.
