Hello,
I'm fairly new to Avaya environment. Is there a way to backup/upload firmware from a G450 to a USB thumbdrive? I've seen plenty of posts on updating firmware but I'm looking to backup the firmware. I'm running CM 5.2 and as of May 31, Avaya has removed all older software from their website.

Thank you for help in this matter.

There is not a command to backup firmware for a media-gateway
s8300 servers have /tftpboot directory which may have files you are looking for.
base files are installed from 5.2.1 when the s8300 is imaged.
Later if you stage firmware in /tftpboot to be used with tftp to update firmware
for media-modules, phones, media-gateways it may still be on the hard disk of your s8300.
Code:
craft@Flagstaff> cd /tftpboot
craft@Flagstaff> ls

Thanks for replying,
So what you're telling me is, I will find these under cd /tftpboot?
Can I just copy the g450.bin file?

I am telling you to look. The files may not match what you have installed on your media-gateways, unless someone
upgraded them from your s8300 /tftpboot files
