Backup files sizes & Security S8300

Hi all ,
Can anyone help me, Our customer is not really happy having to use FTP for the backup of the S8300. I Told them this is the way to do it, to help my case i need some more facts

- what are the average file sizes of the backup files
- Are login id's and passwords forthe FTP server stored in Clear text or encrypted.

Hi,

Yes you can choose the login id and a passwd for you ftp and if remember well, you can do some encryption. In S8300, this is the only way to do an external backup (with email too).

The size? I checked on a customer site where there are more than 1000 agents and the size is less than 300kb !!!
