Hi all,
I have only installed a few IPOffices in Partner mode and have not had any trouble with them. An associate of mine installed one about a month ago and there is a message[hairpull] on x10 saying Backup Failed. Has anyone experienced this? An additional sd card was installed in the system to possibly allieviate this issue. Any thoughts?? I have not been to the site myself, but I do know the version is 7.0.36. The tech that installed it inadvertently downgraded the unit instead of upgrading because he had his bin files set to a different release. Not sure if that would cause an issue. The system works fine otherwise.
Thanks all!!

Clear the alarm and wait a week. If it doesn't comeback then no issue.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I would be more concerned that you have a corrupt SD card. You may want to try a manual backup to verify that there isn't a problem.

1. At either of the first two extensions on the system, press Admin.
• To do the above during a call, you may need to press the key phone PHONE button to display the Admin soft key option. If you access phone administration during a call, only the key speaker SPEAKER, key mute MUTE and key headset HEADSET buttons still affect the connected call.
2. Use the up arrow up or down down arrow arrow buttons to scroll the display to System Administration. When highlighted, press Select.
3. Dial #124. The display will show System Manual Backup:. Press Proceed to start the backup.
4. If Proceed is not displayed or there is a problem, additional text messages may be displayed.
• Shutdown and Insert Card
No card was detected in the phone system's System SD card slot. For correct operation of the phone system the Avaya SD card should always be present at all times.
• System Busy
Another backup, restore, upgrade or copy was already in progress at the time the manual process was requested.
• Backup Failed
This message indicates that there was some problem. For example the card in the phone system's System SD card slot was removed during the backup or the card has become corrupted.
5. If the backup was successful, Backup Successful is displayed.
• Exit programming by pressing key phone PHONE. Alternatively use the Back button to move to another menu.

Think twice, speak once~~!!~~

Thanks all for your responses..I upgraded the system to 8.1 and that fixed the issue.
