Backup Failed - Internal Error: Missing File Backup

I have a BCM 400 Release 4.0.
When I make a backup in my pc the system reports me the following error:
Error Happeden. Error Detail: Internal Error: Missing File Backup

The tests I did were the following:

1 - Notebook plugged directly into LAN1 port. failure
2 - Notebook plugged directly into LAN2 port. failure
3 - Select only telephony. failure

What is the name of the file you're trying to backup to and where is it located on your PC?

Hi Telcodog,
I tried several names (example backup, bcm etc) with and without extension "tar".
This file I want download it in my notebook, within a folder in the root directory is "C" with full access

Try just creating a folder on your desktop (or my documents) somewhere and when you do the backup just browse to the folder and name the file something like "backup june 11 2014" . No file extensions or anything fancy (without the quotation marks of course).

Whenever I do a BCM backup, I always add a file extension of .tar. If you configure the BCM to backup to a USB or Network drive, then it will assign the .tar at the end of the backup file.

If you have a zip tool such as Winrar, then you can open up the file to look at it's contents such as CDR data or in most cases, the licence file.
