I am using an NT Server with BE 8.5 to back up a SCO Openserver unix box, via the Backup Exec unix agent. The problem is, the backup speeds are dreadful - around 2Mb per minute.
Restoring to the Unix box is not a problem, speeds are in excess of 80Mb per minute, it's just backup that's a problem. There are no problems backing up remote Netware or NT servers from the same Backup Exec box, so I'm fairly sure the problem must be related either to the Unix box, or to the configuration of the Backup Exec agent on that box.
Has anybody seen this problem before, or does anybody have any useful advice?
Thanks
