Hi, long time since I last posted here but as I remember this was always the best source of info.
So here goes.
Were looking to replace NetVault backup at the place I currently work as it has been installed for over 2 years and still is not working properly, despite the best attempts of all involved. With the latest problems I'm recommending we look for another product to back up the filers and server systems.
As I have past experience with Backup Exec (Many years ago with 8 through to 10), I thought I'd look here and ask a question specificly about the NDMP option, namely in your experience, how does it perform? Does it do what it is supposed to without too much issue and are there any particular issues that we should be aware of assuming we jump on the Backup Exec bandwagon?
