Backup Exec kicking out tapes and not backing up

I'm having a big problem I'm hoping someone can help answer. I have been using Backup Exec for a couple years now without any problems. I recently switched over from Windows NT to Windows 2000. Backup Exec continued to work fine, until around last month. I noticed that my tapes were being ejected and showing up as failed. Backup Exec was still asking for a tape.

I thought maybe my tapes were bad, because I kinda sorta left them out in the cold once when I forgot about them (long story) so I tried new tapes. Same effect: Backup Exec ejects the tape after trying a few files, and then never finishes the job. What can I do to correct this?

Thanks,

Reagan

Try erasing the tape and labelling it to the same name that the backup job wants.
