We currently have Veritas Backup Exex 8.6. The server it backs up is and Exchange 5.5.
I have noticed that when I backs up the server it skips the priv.edb and pub.edb files as it says they are in use (the services are never stopped for backup).
Does this mean that infact we are not backing up the exchange server and that all mailbox items etc will be lost if a corruption with the server took place?
