I know the best way to backup the SQL on my ACT7 is to use their deal and then backup what they backup. But I'm still curious as to why I get this:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Backup Exec
Event Category: None
Event ID: 57860
Date: 3/25/2008
Time: 11:20:54 PM
User: N/A
Computer: SERVERNAME
Description:
An error occurred while attempting to log in to the following server: "SERVERNAME\ACT7".
SQL error number: "4818".
SQL error message: "Login failed for user 'DOMAIN-NAME\CONSOLE-LOG-IN-USER'.
".
For more information, click the following link:
Data:
0000: 18 48 00 00 00 00 00 00 .H......
0008: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........
Does my Backup Exec think that because it's a SQL deal that it needs to log-in as the console user and do something?
I use the variable CONSOLE-LOG-IN-USER in the above example in place of the actual user (my way of hiding some info that might become sensitive) and that "user" didn't have a ACT7! account. I created one and still got the error...I even changed the ACT! user password to the domain user password but I still get the error.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
