Does anybody have a solution for my problem? I can't get the remote agent to install on our primary domain controller. I've tried pushing it from the backup server, and I've tried installing directly from the CD by copying the ntaa folder and then running setupaa.cmd for the command prompt. It acts like it's installing when I do it this way, but the service never shows up in the service list and the folder for veritas is never created. When I try to push from the backup server it just hangs. I've been able to install it to all our other servers. Appreciate any advice anyone can give me.

Our you doing it with the right permissions
as administrator and full control for the drive
you're installing it on ?

because a lot of problems with installs occur
because of wrong permissions
good luck

Maybe, you have to install the remote agent manually. Logon as Administrator on der RemoteServer.
Start on the
Veritas Backup-CD ...\WINNT\INSTALL\EN\I386\NTAA\setupaa.cmd
I've got problems with our remotcontrollsoftware.
