Every night my Oracle instances crash. I've done alot a research online and came across many differnt theories. One theory is a conflicy with my Back Up software. We use Veritas Backup Exec with Backup Exec for Oracle Agent. I need to know what all goes into setting up the agent. The agent looks very simple in terms of config. SID name,Control file location, Archive log Location, username, password. Can somebdy please give me soem insight onto how to setup the agent.
