Backup Exec Admin Console

Hi,

I am trying to install the Backup Exec Admin. Console (BE9.1 on Netware 4.2). But I need to add the server IP address to hosts, but we use SPX. How can I get around this??

BE 9.1 does not support NW 4.2. You will have to upgrade to at least NW 5.1 (but if you're going to upgrade, I highly recommend jumping to 6.5)

Odd, but NW4.2 is not in their compatibility list, but the 9.1.1158.9 build docs talk about supporting NW4.2. Weird.

OK, from the horse's mouth:

Don't know much about 4.2, but if you can install tcp/ip on it it will work. There are some good Netware forums here at Tek Tips.
