I recently had Veritas Backup Exec installed on three servers, unforunately the acceleration agents failed to install correctly. Now everytime i try to install the agents from the CD given i am presented with error code 80004005. Is there away round this problem?

Backup Exec acceleration agent error code

To install the Acceleration Agent locally to a server:
1. Share the CD-ROM drive which holds the Backup Exec 7.x or 8.x CD. Alternatively, you can bring the CD to the machine which needs the Acceleration Agent installed.
2. If CD-ROM was shared in step 1, you will need to map a drive from the target server to the server which has the Backup Exec CD share.
3. Execute the 'setupaa.cmd' command from the proper path on the Backup Exec CD.
a. Backup Exec 7.x path is as follows: X:\WINNT\INSTALL\ENG\i386\NTAA
b. Backup Exec 8.x path is as follows: E:\WINNT\BE\INSTALL\ENG\I386\NTAA\
4. Following installation, reboot the machine the Acceleration Agent was installed to.
