I successfully ran BE9 last night on one of our linux servers running RH7.2. THis was without an agent and it seemed to work just fine. I want to add our other linux box (running an older version of linux, no particular brand), but I can't get BE to athenticate to get into it. No other user has any problems accessing it over the network, including the BE Server (it can browse it fine). But I cant get BE to access it. I have tried several user/pass combos including the root account for the linux box, but I still can't access it in a selection list. Any ideas?
