Backup Exec 9.1 Serial Number

I have installed the evaluation version of Backup Exec 9.1, and after being happy with bought the full copy of SBS Std Edt. I removed the evaluation copy, installed the full copy, but when I enter the serial number provided it says that it is invalid. I know its correct, and needing to do a backup carried on using the evaluation copy. I tells me that I have 12 days left of use. Has anybody come across this, and/or can help me install the proper code?

Your code should look like this: x8-xx66-xx75-xxx073. Did you made an upgrade of your licenses from 8.x? Maybe it's only an upgrade serial...

Anyway, if you have boght a license and it does not work, you have to contact the support from your software-supplier. He can contact Veritas and create a new one...

Cheers. The original software was installed without a serial number, therefore making it an evaluation copy. It was version 9.1 and the full copy is 9.1 also.
