Backup Exec 9.0 and Windows 2000 Server

I am using an Adaptec 2940AU SCSI card together with a Compaq TL891 mini library tape backup unit and I have a tough time getting the software to see the tape backup, the SCSI card is working, tried loading Compaq tape drivers, but the softpaq that supposedly contains the TL800 series drivers only have drivers for the 7000 and the 8000 series - any ideas of what I may be missing here or doing wrong??
