BACKUP EXEC 8.6 - REMOTE AGENT INSTALLATION on WINDOWS 2000

Hi !! .. i'm trying to install the remote agent for windows NT/2000 on a Windows 2000 server and when i select the domain and server to make the installation... a message appears thay say WARNING "The system cannot find the path specified"... i don't know what to do ... all permissions are right... and if i make a backup without the agent... the files are backed up ... but the job status is FAILED... and i want to see a SUCCESSFUL

any ideas ?

Check to make sure that the destination drive is not nearly full. That's how one user with your exact problem solved his dilemma in this thread:

yes... i saw that issue.. but no... the server have 10 gb of free space...

Are you trying to cross domains? I found in the past, with an older version of Backup Exec that it works better to manually enter the UNC path to the computer, if that is the case.
