Backup Exec 8.6 locking MS SQL 7.0 process info

I don't know if somebody also has this problem. But after doing a backup for MS SQL 7.0 with Backup Exec 8.6 the Backup Exec process locks the database from imports. I'm not using a lock during the backup. But long after the backup has completed the database remains locked. If I check the Process Info in the MS SQL admin I see an entry for the Backup Exec account but I can't remove the process and need to reboot the server to get rid of it.

Anybody knows what can be causing this?
