backup exec 8.5 backing up sql 7 db's accross a domain

Having an issue using Backup Exec 8.5 on a primary domain to backup SQL db's located on a server in it's own workgroup. . keep getting access denied errors. Both systems are running Windows NT 4.0 Server. Which user account needs which rights and in which location?????
