Backup Exec 8.5 and HP DLT1

We did the update from Ver 7.2 to 8.5 because our DLT1 Tape from HP was to slow. But now it doesn't work at all.
As soon as we start the backup, Eackup Exec ejects the Tape.
It sais the Tape is not ready to override ! But I did it with a new tape !
I couldn't find a Veritas driver for our tape on the Website. Does anybody know how to solve this problem ??

If backup is slow, make sure the Drive's properties (Devices tab, 'drive name', Properties, Configuration) have a 32k block size, and a 1024k buffer size. Restart the BE services to make changes effective. Make sure the speed on the UW/U2W SCSI is not above 20 for the drive ID; with wide negotiation turned on.
