Backup Exec 8.0 Backup is to long

Hi there,

Backup Exec is running in a network with four machines. The operating system for all the machines is windows NT sp6. Backup Exec needs more than nine hours for 66% of the folders from three computers. The troughput rate for remote servers is nearly 4.4 MB/min. The logfile gives me three error messages for each remote drive:
Agent Accelerator not present - performing standard backup
Error gathering disaster recovery information from the remote machine.
Verify that the most recent version of the Agent Accelerator is installed on this machine.

First Backup Exec was running on another server backing up the same computers and more folders in 2,5 hours.
The only new installed thing is the disaster recovery.

Can someone tell me what to do to speed up the process?

The error message give the game away - it can't connect to the remote agent(agent accelerator) thats why it is giving slow backups.

- Make sure it is running on the remote computers (make sure it is the same version as the backup server).
- Make sure you have entered in the license keys on teh backup server for the remote agents.
