I'm using Backup Exec on site with a media pool defined but started to notice that inless I first erase the tapes I use prior to running an overnight backup it fails. The tapes in question have been used before. Once I erase the tapes I've noticed that they appear in the scratch pool but I'm still able to you them. Should I move the tape to the main media pool set, and is this causing my probelm? The backup job is set to use the overwrite option and verify afterwards. If I run a backup stright away it completes ok. Can any of you guys give me any clues as to whats going on?
