BACKUP EXEC 7.0 rev 725 -- Backups not completing

I have scheduled jobs daily to begin at 9:30pm.
They are always full backups, its on HP Superstore - dds4 drive.
If i run a backup manually it seems to complete fine.
When running through the scheduled job, it tends to not complete even tho the tape is ejected, until i put the tape back in, it then completes and schedules the next nights job and i have to manually eject the tape after that.

Just wondering if anyone else has run into this, as its the same routine being used as on a previous tape drive which was a dds3.
Its driving me nuts.
