Hi,

We have recently installed Symantec Backup Exec 2010 R3 on one of our servers and since then we have been having issues with Jobs not succesfully running. They just seem to queue i have tried restarting services on the server and also pause and unpause the tape drive through Backup Exec. This made no difference if anyone can offer any advice i would grateful

Have you tried a test backup to disk? That would help determine if the issue is with the tape drive (drivers, etc) or with the software.

Also, make sure you install all the latest hotfixes, via Live Update.
