HI..we are running windows 2003 sp1 and latest fixes, this is our backup server and also running Exchange 2003 std. backup drive is a SDLT160 (320GB)drivers for tape are Backup exec's
we have 2 jobs running under backup exec 10d first to run is the information store which works fine usually an 1hr to complete(over writes tape).
second job is our data backup (adds to tape)we have several drives all attached to this server (15 slot drive bay) so not running over network. This use to run in 12hrs including verifiy but now is taking over 13 hrs but nothing has chnaged.
I have reinstalled software (repaired) also restarted the server so the tape drive is repowered in case of any issues their, cleaned the drive a couple of times, even changed tried new tape.
I am now stuck what to try next Please can you help.
