Backup Exec 10.1 / Slow backing up Exchange 2003 Mailboxes

We are noticing that are nightly incremental mailbox backup is very slow. The connection to the tape library is Gigabit speed. All other Exchange 2003 backup features are running quick. It's just the mailbox backup that is incredibly slow. This should not be an issue due to any users using email during late night operations. No unusual errors are showing outside of open files in use.

That is normal. Your 50mb/min is actually good.

Its exchange or antivirus software.
