backup Exchange2K from BENT 8.5/NT ?!?

Does anyone know if it's possible for BENT 8.5 (running on an NT member server in an Active Directory domain) to perform Exchange 2000 backups of a remote 2000 domain controller? They'd both be in the same domain, with a persistent 100mb/s connection. We're moving to Active Directory, and I'd like to keep BENT on its current NT server.

I realize we can't backup system states or do IDR from an NT server. I'm simply interested in running the Exchange and Open File agents for now, until we can afford to upgrade the backup server to Win2000.

Yes, you can back up Exchange 2000, but you must have the Agent for MS-Exchange 2000 license installed on the 8.5 Backup Exec server.
