backup exchange server

does anyone know how to backup exchange server. ok i need to reinstall my server then i want all my mail still in the exchange server, so can i do the backup, so after reinstall my server just restore back
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Shutdown Exchange services.
Backup all mailstores + log files.
Re-install server. Make sure it is same version + sp.
mount the db's.
