Hello, trying to replace an old switch ERS 3524-GT PWR+ with a new one ERS 3524-GT PWR+ (same version : 5.3.2)
* First, i did the backup of the configuration the old switch :
- Get a tftp server on the same subnet of the old switch
- copy config tftp address x.x.x.x filename name
- file is copied successfully.
-------
* Next, i did restore to the new switch :
- Get a tftp server connected to the switch
- assign an ip address to the new switch and make it ping the tftp server
- copy tftp config address x.x.x.x filename name
its return error ( Cannot use configuration data from a different type of Baystack module , operation aborted ) .
i did tried to backup the configuration on ascii format : copy running-config tftp address x.x.x.x filename name, i did try to restore to the new switch , its occure another error ( Data CRC failure , operation aborted )
i did change the name of the file on the backup operation (.bin , .cfg , .ascii ) and nothing is changed.
Any suggestions ?

I think they are on different hardware levels. Easiest would be to just type in the ASCII backup of the old switch.
