Backup error levels

I am taking a backup using

find . -print | backup -iqvf /dev/rmt0 2>>/user1/log/logfile

and noticed that I get 1 as an exit value.

man pages just say

>0 An error occurred.

Anybody know what exactly error level 1 means ?
