What is the proper way to do backup floppy disks? I put in a new disk and did edd in ld 43. I noticed the green light on the drive never came on but it did say backup complete. Possible the light has gone out? Or has my own light gone out?

Use LD143
i use XBK and download to my PC

Unfortunatly "management" is wanting it to be put on diskette

Remote backup database

a PCMIA card is much better and faster

In an Opt61C or 81C remember that you have 2 disk drives. If you want to be sure if the data has been secured on a disk go to LD 43 and type DAT.
To verify it has been successful to the floppy disk, check it on your own PC to see if the date is matching.
