Hi All,

I'm using BEB 10.5 (with SP1) and I have the following problem on a regular basis.
Sometimes my backup job crashes (apperently when backing up the DR info) and in the log-file I then have the strange line 'Replicated from', see below:

[01/21/2004-23:18:00 ,0,0,0,0,0,2,1,0,0] Job ID....................... 100
[01/21/2004-23:18:00 ,0,0,0,0,0,2,1,0,0] Workstation.................. BE001S002
[01/21/2004-23:18:00 ,0,0,0,0,0,2,1,0,0] Source....................... C:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor Enterprise Backup\DR\BE001S002
[01/21/2004-23:18:00 ,0,0,0,0,0,2,1,0,0] Replicated From.............. A1-ENT\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows
[01/21/2004-23:18:00 ,0,0,0,0,0,2,1,0,0] On Server....................
[01/21/2004-23:18:00 ,0,0,0,0,0,2,1,0,0] Target....................... WE3, ID 005D, Sequence #1
[01/21/2004-23:18:00 ,0,0,0,0,0,2,1,0,0] Session...................... 5
[01/21/2004-23:18:00 ,0,0,0,0,0,2,1,0,0] Start Time................... 1/21/04 11:18 PM
[01/21/2004-23:18:00 ,0,0,0,0,0,2,1,0,0] Session Method............... Full

My backup job completely stops (no further servers are backed up).
I only take backups of Windows 2000 servers (no clusters, simple member servers, ...)

Any idea where this comes from, or how I can solve it?
CA support has no clue at all :-(

Kind regards,
Oryx

First problem I see is the job number is missing.
[01/21/2004-23:18:00 ,0,0,0,0,0,2,1,0,0]
That second 0 should be the job #.

As far as the "Replicated From" message that is informational only. The Client Agent will have it's own DR directory for the DR info for that system. At the end of it's backup the agent sends the DR info to the server. See faq478-4690 for more details on the DR info.

As for why the job crashes, don't know. Put both the Job and Tape Engines in debug and lets see what the logs have to say.
