I am new in Windows NT, and I want to now, how can I configure my system to do the backup (to my tape) of certain folders at a determinate time. For example:

I want to copy
Folder A
Folder B
Folder C

At 02:00 AM
Every day

Thanks

You should scour through the forum for other threads on NT Backups. I know I've seen several.

Generally, try NT's "backup": Open an command prompt and type in "backup /?" (no quotes). This is what you should use and where to see the command's usage. To schedule your backups, take the backup command string you create and then use "at". To learn about NT's scheduling command, open a command prompt and type in "at /?" (no quotes).

Have fun!

Actually, it's ntbackup /?, rather than backup /?.

If you have any money, or are wanting something more than a basic backup program, go for Arcserve by Computer Associates or a similar product; ntbackup is a VERY basic backup program with almost no bells or whistles.
