Hi Folks,
it may seem a low level question but I cannot find the backup database command on the access drop down menu. On my laptop installation of access its there in the menu bar.
All help welcome.
thanks

In Access 2003 you can use the Backup Database feature by going to File on your menubar.

File
New
Open
Save
Backup Database

Hi Ssatech,
I agree with your solution as this is where the backup command normally appears.
In this case however its not there nor is it in Tools either.
any more suggestions
thanks

Have you tried to add it to your menubar? Using the Customize

Customize
Commands Tab
File
Backup Database....

and dragging it to your menubar......
