My NW server is 2003, NW 7.4.2.
The server is in Domain A, along with a number of clients, all of which backup ok.

I have a client in Domain B, which I need to backup from the Server in domain A.

Has anyone done this sort of thing, is it possible ?

I tried putting domain b account details in Client access but didnt seem to work.

any help would be much appreciated.

Yes its possible.
You dont need any user credentials for backup becaus nsrexec runs with system privileges. You only need to provide credentials for restores !
Your problem might be name resolution.
Make the dns serve of domain A a secondary name server of domain B and vice versa.
As an alternative you can forward the dns request between the two domains.
