Backup and Restore

If I backup from a NAM 8 port fiber channel 4.0 and replace it with a NAM 8 port fiber channnel 4.1 will I be able to restore the 4.0 backup? Thanks for any help!!!

I don’t think so because your serial number will change, you may be better off doing an upgrade to 4.1

I have no choice. This is the only way we can do it. Thanks for your input. I know I replaced a hard drive one time and I was able to restore it. I do not know if it was a different revision of software or not.
