Hi!
I'd like to backup my ISA configuration. I've used ISA management backup feature. Then I've tried to restore that configuration, using ISA management again, and I've got the following error:

The system has attempted to load or restore a file into the registry, but the specified file is not in a registry file format.

Can anyone tell-me how to restore ISA configuration into registry??

Many thanks.

I've never used the ISA Management Backup feature, but there is a very nice utility to backup your ISA config and restore it to the same or a different server.

The utility is called ISAExportImport.vbs and you can get it in .zip form here:

ftp://ftp.tacteam.net/isaserver/

It dumps all of the elements of the ISA config to a vbs file which you can edit to remove pieces you don't want, or to add things you want to create. You can then run it from the server you are trying to restore.
