Backup Agent Error-(128) "License has been terminated"

We are running Arcserve 2000, Win NT 4.0. We have not had any problems with the backup job, then all of a sudden we get this error. We have tried reentering the key code, reinstalling the backup agent, and rebooting the system. Nothing seems to work. Each time we try to select the database to be backed up we still get this error.

Any ideas??
 
Hi

In Arcserve 2000 you need to enter key code for each option
so if you have 1 ARcserve server
2 Open file agent
1 exchange option
in this case you should have 4 key codes
check c:\ca_lic\lic98.log if there any license error appearing on the machine which is having problem .

I need to see the last 10 licenes in lic98.log then I can tell you
what to do.

I think you are not licensing the agent correctly,make sure
your are licensing the correct agent

Found out that we had been using 30 day trial licenses, and after two years they decided to expire!? weird.

So I contacted CA and they issued replacement registration ids. Everything is now working.
