Backup AD in Win2000 Adv. Server

Hi:

i have all the user & group objects in win2000
server. However, i think somehow the dns server
is screwed up and i would like to keep
all objects and restore in another fresh win2000
server. Is it possible? and how?

Any suggestion is welcome.

you can backup Ad using the built in backup tool :
Go to start->programs->Accessories->System Tools->Backup
Choose backup wizard

Only backup the System State data(on a DC, this also contains the AD) I have not failed, I just found 10000 ways that don't work
