backup abend

I have been given Tivoli Storage Management with a few hours of in-house training so I obviously need help. One of the thirteen x-series servers has never had a successful backup. I keep getting ANR2579E with a return code 4. I have a couple of manuals on the LAN but not much help there. Can someone point me in the right direction?

ANR2579E Schedule schedule name in domain domain name for node node name failed (return code return code).
Explanation: This message is displayed when an ADSM client reports failure in executing a scheduled action. The return code reported by the client is displayed.
