Hi all,

I have an sql 2005 and on the same server i have a Dat72, how can i configure the sql to make backups on the dat?

thanks all

You'll need to setup the tape backup drive in Windows. Then setup a backup drive to point to that drive.

mrdenny,,

how can i do that? do you have any doc?

regards

As for getting the tape drive setup in Windows, you'll need to check the docs which came with the drive, or the drive OEM.

As for adding it as a backup device in SQL, check BOL under sp_addumpdevice.
