Our company switches from VFP6 to VFP8.
We recompiled our existing products and found the following interesting thing.
If VFP8 the BackStyle (transparent) properity doesn't work the same way like in VFP6.
e.g. We have a picture with white background - the white color disapears in VFP6 but not in VFP8.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem with high color bitmaps in VFP7. The solution was to refill the white again with white into an image editor. That image editor had options like luminance, alpha, etc for pixels (Image Forge, if I remember correctly). After saving, the white area of bitmaps was transparent again.

Because of the changes for GDI+ support and XP Themes, some visual changes may be necessary so they look right under all the supported OSs.
