Has anyone out there useds a programs like Ghost or PowerQuests drive image software to make a copy of you NAM's hard drive so that if you have a major failure you can just replace the drive and put that image back on to the new drive. This is a fairly fast process it takes only about 20 minutes to restore a 1 gig hard drive. I have heard horror stories on how many hours it takes to reload the NAM software and then you need to do a restore of your own data setup.

ghost does not work I have not tried powerquests. the nam uses OS2 there are a fiew forums on OS2 that have threads indicating it is impossable to difficult. I do know it is possable but what to use and the commands to give are nstill a mistery. good luck and happy hunting.

Diskclon is a program that can duplicate a drives contents.
I successfully completed many in a raw bit by bit mode.

Does anyone know how to load the NAM software?

As far as I know the NAM's (even though they are OS/2) just use a standard DOS/FAT filesystem so there should be no problem in using Ghost to make an image.

I've never done a backup of one with Ghost, but I have done a restore for a client using a backup that their previous phone guy did... so I know it's possible :)
