Backing up VM servers and Novell using Netbackup (Newbie)

Hello,


I am new to Netbackup and we are using Netbackup 7.0 we are preparing to configure some windows servers for VM backups. Can I set up both Incremental and Full backups for vm machines using the vSTORAGE API or do I have to use the VCB? I was informed we would be using the vSTORAGE API but from what I read (I may be incorrect) when restoring you can only restore the entire machine? You can't restore individual files? If we can restore individual files how can this be done?

Also, Are there any guides or documentation on how to install the Netbackup client on Novell Netware WITHOUT using the CD? The guide just show you how to install the netbackup client using the CD (unless I missed something)
