Have several clients that I have installed the 3Com NBX IP Telephony phone system, but there is not automated back up procedure designed with the system.

So, I was attemnpting to use something like MicroSoft's Task Scheduler to back up the unix based system through its IP address link (Administration is via a web browser interface).

I have obviously discovered that MicroSoft's Task Scheduler only seems to like physical drives or folders to select for back up.

Basically, I was hoping to copy the URL link " as the source of what needs backed up, have the system every Friday run this, and save the backup (*.tar) file with a new saved name each week like (3ComNBX_date.tar).

Any suggestions of an other product or how to get Task Scheduler to work.
