backing up to dvds

I have a mss 3.1 that I backup to dvds daily . When I replace the dvd every day do I need to unmount ,then eject ,then mount the dvd after replacing it . I rotate 5 different dvds.

Avaya has recommended that I eject from the web page rather than from the button on the dvd drive.

you shouldn't need to do an unmount command
