Trying to figure out if you can run a backup to a BACKUP DISK FOLDER and get just a copy of the files?

Right now I get the .bkf.

Any thoughts?

No you cannot - Backup Exec put the files in "container" files with the .bkf extension - there is no way to change this.

If you looking to run a job to a Backup to Disk folder then take that backup and put it to tape you can choose a "duplicate job" and point it to a tape device or another backup to disk folder. this will duplicate the "job" and you can go right to tape for restore
