Backing Up to an external enclosure......

My laptop does not have a floppy drive. Using WIN XP Pro and the back up utility, it asks for a floppy. Since I did not get a copy of XP Pro with my (HP) laptop - just the recovery disks - I need to find a method to make a bootable CD that will allow me to access the external enclosure (with a Maxtor 40GB installed - using the firewire cable to hook things up).

Step by step instructions or link to a site that expalins would be appreciated.
